Slap Shot

Well it's one of the best times of the year: NHL PLAYOFFS! First, my condolences to the fans of the pitiful Toronto Maple Leaves (that's right! LEAVES! There's no use fucking with the Queen's English. What Handi-capable person came up with Leafs?). I'm happy to report that I will not have to watch the TML for a long time, and sports casts no longer make the jackasses in Toronto the leading story. I do however miss Harold Ballard. Now there was a visionary for the TML! As one might have guessed, I am a die hard fan of the only truly great hockey team, The Montreal Canadiens. The Habs are right now getting screwed by missed calls, and bad calls (Koivu's assailant should be suspended for the rest of the series). What I love about this time of year is that hockey is on every night. I'm even growing a playoff beard. Go Habs Go!!!!!! So who's going to win the cup? If Calgary can make it past Anaheim, they'll go all the way to meet Buffalo in the finals. I'm still pulling for my Habs, but I need to be realistic.
So many people I know are down in the Caribbean. LUCKY BASTARDS! I'm here working my ass off, and they get to bask in the sun. I guess I'll have to wait for my vacation. June 5th is the first day of rehearsals for the Show I'm doing this summer at the Victoria Playhouse! It's gonna be sweet! We open June 22, and close July 22. Come one come all!
