Fate?

Does fate exist? It's one of those philisophical questions we tend to ask every now and again. Boy and girl meet, hit it off, and part ways. Important? What happens when that boy and girl find thier way back to each other, and the boy grows very fond of the girl? The fates then deal a blow, the girl has to leave. Is it a random coincidence? Was fate messing with the boy? OR was fate giving the boy a second chance to have some time with the girl he had grown fond of? I suppose it is the old adage of half empty vs half full. The truth is we may never know, it is all a matter of point of view("Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view."-Obi-Wan Kenobi). Will fate intervene? Pehaps the boy and girl will meet again. Perhaps. Someday. I hope so.
