midnight in the garden of good and evil

So Dr. David Weale has been dismissed at UPEI; a school which will be known for a while as the place that hands out marks. It's hard to say if i agree with the dismissal or not. The Facts from my point of view:
A) The class was way too big, full of students who heard his class was a bird course.
B) The oversized class was in an undersized room, had it been in a bigger room, say a lecture theatre, it would not have been so bad.
C) I was actually interested in the class, but was made uncomfortable by the "sardine factor".
D) I took the deal.
E) Dr. Weale could have come up with a more creative solution, say a 75% for a self reflection paper which was only a couple of pages in length, at least that would have had some sort of weight for handing out marks.
F) It was his last class at UPEI; he said so himself.

Thumbs up: the students who wanted to organize a protest, but i didn't see anything on the news about one.

Thumbs down: the students who write for the CADRE. Although in many regards humourous, check some facts once in a while! Oh, and take English 101.
